Jump cups are made out of PVC Snap On Clamps with beveled edges, NOT schedule 40 PVC Water Tees that are cut in half and left unsanded. These cups are easily placed and adjusted to any height you want (AKC, NADAC, CPE, USDAA, etc.) Jump cup depth meets safety regulations and this allows the pole to be displaced easily if the bar is knocked, making an injury less likely for your pet. Ladders are good for building rear end and front end awareness, learning to side step through the rungs, teaching the dog to walk in a narrower space, teaching the dog to focus ahead and for building general confidence that will be beneficial later when introduced to the teeter, dogwalk, etc. when the dog must have quick awareness of what all four feet are doing! Ladders are also used by some canine physical therapists and individuals who work in canine rehabilitation after injuries/surgeries.
